January 3, 2015Tomorrow will mark 6 months since Lizmarie and Matt tied the knot on a beautiful day in June! Liz and Matt are good friends with the sweetest Michelle and David of Michelle Stoker Photography, so I knew I would love them from the start 🙂 A large part of their wedding day was spent at St. Mary Margaret Catholic Church and Park Ave, where Katie from KT Crabb Photography captured every perfect shot.
Oh, and that DRESS! Covered in beading and lace… Liz was truly one of the most stunning brides I’ve ever seen.
When I learned their reception would be at the Orlando Museum of Art, I actually felt giddy! The OMA is absolutely gorgeous and became the perfect backdrop for their party.
The bride and groom love to travel, and even headed off to South Africa after the wedding for their honeymoon! Liz wanted a subtle travel theme throughout the venue, and it worked beautifully. Her card boxes were vintage suitcases, the table names were names of the cities that have meaning to Liz and Matt, and she created a totally unique place card board on a map of the world. To tie it all together, we placed small and large easels throughout the museum of their own “artwork” – sweet pictures of Liz and Matt.
I just love all the natural light that KT captures in her photos – the light poured in while I set up their decor in front of these gorgeous windows!
Had to include this silly one of Michelle and I passing out flower petals for the big exit 🙂 Liz and I are so thankful for your help, Mich!
To Lizmarie and Matt – I wish you the happiest life together! Thank you for letting me be a part of your perfect day.
