Melissa and Greg – One Year Later
April 28, 2014Shannon and Giulio
November 27, 2014One of the best parts of this career is getting friends down the aisle! Em and I met Lauren several years ago in our sorority, and we were thrilled to help another Phi Lamb sister marry the man of her dreams.
Her ceremony and reception were held at the gorgeous Marina del Rey at Mission Inn (check out their website for several photos of Lauren’s wedding on the homepage)! One of my favorite parts of their whole day was their foot-washing ceremony, symbolizing the respect and humble hearts they have for one another because of their love for Christ. They couldn’t have asked for a prettier day.
Lauren knocked it out of the PARK with her theme and decor. All of the orchids used for ceremony and reception were from Lauren’s dads’ orchid farm – I have never seen more beautiful orchids in my life! The gorgeous white flowers flowed over their aisle and reception tables, which we decorated with white, gold, and hints of turquoise. Lauren gave these away to guests as the party ended, and ours is still looking beautiful on the front porch!
The incredibly talented Ashley McCormick captured the day perfectly and Mission Inn did a fabulous job with catering. Lauren even had the Yum Yum Cupcake Truck company bake their beautiful (and insanely delicious!) cakes. For extra dessert she served a Krispy Kreme doughnut tower with homemade rice crispy treats – YUM!
To top it all off, Nathan Seta from Duo 58 Events and Catering kept the party going all night (this was especially fun for me since he was the DJ for our wedding back in 2011)!
Congratulations Lauren and Travis – it was so fun to make your vision come to life!
