August 11, 2016Everyone can remember that friend they grew up with, even in early childhood. So many memories of birthday parties, school, playdates, vacations, and sleepovers all include that friend, who you may or may not keep up with on social media. A lucky few get to grow up with someone and stay friends with them for life, and I am one of them!
Samantha and I had older sisters who were pre-school friends, so we literally grew up together from baby-hood! She has always been a friend I can trust, rely on, and have a blast with – I literally can’t remember a time she wasn’t in my life! When I first met Adam, I had a strong feeling he would be the one she would marry! They are the perfect fit. They must have known pretty early too, as they flew to Asia just two months after meeting to spend a month together traveling!
Seeing as Sam and I had dreamt of our wedding days as little girls, then teenagers watching wedding movies (or let’s face it, any heart-throb movie with Freddy Prinze Jr!), it was so fun helping her plan and coordinate her own perfect day. They got married at the Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota – a breathtaking museum that used to be a private estate. Check out their beautiful day, captured by my dear friend and crazy-talented photographer, Michelle Stoker!
That dress!!! I was honored that Sam asked me to go dress shopping with her at The Boutique at Brides Against Breast Cancer, an amazing dress shop I love to recommend to brides who want their weddings to bless others 🙂 70% of the extremely great price on this stunning once-worn gown went directly to Breast Cancer Awareness! Such a wonderful business.
Milan Catering took care of the chair, linen, and dinnerware rentals as well as the delicious family-style meal guests shared. I love getting to help my brides pick the right mix of textures and colors to make their vision come to life!
Sam wanted simple, elegant, and a touch of Gatsby to be the feel of her wedding. The candelabras and floral work by Tampa Wedding Studio were perfect to pull off her theme!
Celebrating this sweet couple was one of the highlights of my career with Two Peas. I am so thankful for your friendship, Sam & Adam, and can’t wait to watch you grow old together!
Love, Paige
